英语课上的尴尬误会

一天，小明上英语课，老师问：“小明，can you tell me the difference between 'potato' and 'tomato'？”
小明慌乱地回答：“Of course, Mr. Smith! One is pronounced 'potato' and the other is pronounced 'tomato'!”
全班爆笑，小明不明白为什么，只能无奈地说：“我真的只是回答问题而已！”
